The four friends, Frank (played by Emilio Estevez), Mike (played by Cuba Gooding Jr.), John (played by Stephen Dorff), and Rey (played by Jeremy Piven), decide to take a shortcut through the rough streets of Chicago while on their way to a boxing match. However, their GPS malfunctions and they end up lost in a dangerous and unfamiliar neighborhood.
As they try to find their way back to the main road, they witness Fallon (played by Denis Leary), a notorious drug lord, murder one of his own henchmen who he suspects has betrayed him. Fallon and his cohorts then see the four friends and realize they have witnessed the murder.
What follows is a suspenseful and terrifying game of cat and mouse as the four friends are ruthlessly hunted by Fallon and his gang. The friends must use their wits and street smarts to survive the night and escape the clutches of Fallon.
The movie features intense action sequences, tension-filled moments, and strong performances from the cast. The film's soundtrack, featuring collaborations between alternative rock and hip-hop artists like Sonic Youth and Cypress Hill, has also earned critical acclaim.
