As they get closer to their destination, they realize that they are not the only ones searching for the Christmas Star. A group of dark witches is also searching for it, with the intention of using its power for evil.
With the help of her newfound friends and a touch of Christmas magic, Sonja and the King finally find the Christmas Star. And to everyone's surprise, Goldhair returns, bringing light and hope back to the land.
The movie ends on a joyous note, with the King finally reunited with his daughter and the villagers celebrating the return of the Christmas Star and the end of the curse.
