Johnny Kapahala - Back on Board is a 2007 Disney Channel Original Movie and a sequel to the 1999 film Johnny Tsunami. The film stars Brandon Baker as Johnny Kapahala and Cary Hiroyuki Tagawa as Johnny Tsunami.

The film begins with Johnny Kapahala returning to Hawaii to attend his grandfather's wedding. Johnny, who is a snowboarding champion, is excited to be back in Hawaii and to catch some waves on Kauai. However, things don't go as smoothly as Johnny had planned.

Upon his arrival, Johnny meets his new family, including his step-grandmother and her son Chris, who is unhappy about the upcoming wedding. Chris is eager to join a mountain boarding crew led by a teenage bully named Brett. Johnny tries to intervene and convince Chris to stay away from Brett's crew, but Chris is adamant about joining the group.

Meanwhile, Johnny's grandfather and his new wife open a surf shop that also caters to mountain boarders. A rival shop owner named Troy, who is also Brett's father, is determined to shut down their business and starts a turf war. Johnny and his friends help his grandfather fight back and save the surf shop.

Johnny Kapahala - Back on Board explores themes of family, friendship, and loyalty. The film also features stunning visuals of Hawaii and some exciting action scenes, including snowboarding and mountain boarding.
