Crime,Drama  India

Jogi is a 2005 Indian drama film directed by Shivam Nair and produced by Renu Tandon. The film is set in the 1980s in a small town in India where tensions between different religious communities are high. The story revolves around three friends - Jogi (Arshad Warsi), a Hindu auto-rickshaw driver, Rashid (Sharad Kapoor), a Muslim mechanic, and Amar (Sushant Singh), a Sikh factory worker. Despite their different religious backgrounds, the three friends share a strong bond and are united in their desire to make a difference in their community.

One day, the town is hit by a devastating flood, and hundreds of people are stranded on the rooftops of their homes. The local authorities are slow to respond, and the situation quickly spirals out of control. Jogi, Rashid, and Amar decide to take matters into their own hands and launch a rescue mission to save as many people as they can. They use their own vehicles and resources to ferry people to safety, even as the floodwaters continue to rise.

However, their efforts are hindered by a group of religious extremists who seek to divide and incite violence among the different communities. The three friends must navigate dangerous territory and overcome numerous obstacles to accomplish their mission. Along the way, they receive help from unexpected sources, including a kind-hearted police officer (Sanjay Mishra) and a courageous young girl (Gauri Karnik).

Jogi is a heartwarming tale of friendship, courage, and the power of human kindness in the face of adversity. The film's message of unity and compassion resonates strongly in today's world, where intolerance and division continue to threaten social harmony.
