The movie Joe Somebody follows the story of Joe Scheffer, a video specialist who is constantly overlooked and underappreciated at his workplace. After being publicly humiliated by his bully and co-worker Mark McKinney in front of his daughter, Joe becomes determined to regain his confidence and self-respect.
He begins by seeking the help of an eccentric martial arts teacher named Chuck Scarett, a former B-action movie star. Under Chuck's guidance, Joe begins to train intensely and improve his physical and mental strength.
As rumors of an impending rematch with Mark begin to circulate around the office, Joe's popularity starts to increase, and he finds himself climbing the corporate ladder at an impressive pace. Joe becomes the talk of the town, with many people rooting for him to finally stand up to Mark and prove that he's not a pushover.
The movie ends with a climactic showdown between Joe and Mark, in which Joe uses his newfound skills and confidence to finally emerge victorious. Along the way, he learns important life lessons about self-worth, perseverance, and the power of believing in oneself.
