Jesse Stone: Stone Cold is a 2005 American television crime drama film directed by Robert Harmon and starring Tom Selleck, based on the novel Stone Cold by Robert B. Parker. The film premiered on the CBS television network.

In the movie, Stone (Tom Selleck) is hired as the new police chief of Paradise, a small town in Massachusetts. However, his first day on the job quickly turns into a homicide investigation when he discovers the body of a teenage girl. As Stone investigates the murder, he realizes that the killer is targeting high school girls who were involved in a cyberbullying incident.

Stone's personal life also begins to unravel. He battles alcoholism and struggles with his past, which includes a failed marriage and a shady career in the LAPD. He begins a relationship with Abby Taylor (Polly Shannon), the town's medical examiner, but has difficulty trusting her due to his own trust issues.

Stone confronts the killer, who turns out to be a former police officer and the father of one of the victimized girls, seeking revenge for his daughter's humiliation. In the end, Stone is able to bring the killer to justice and saves the life of another victim, but not before he confronts his own flaws and demons.
