In Jesse Stone: No Remorse, police chief Jesse Stone (played by Tom Selleck) is going through a tough time, having been suspended from his job after a drunk driving incident. However, his friend and colleague, state homicide commander Healy (played by Stephen McHattie), offers him a chance to investigate a series of murders in Boston, providing Jesse with an opportunity to redeem himself.
Jesse takes on the investigation, despite the fact that he is still struggling with alcoholism and a tendency to become too involved with women.
