Jennifer's Body is a 2009 horror-comedy film directed by Karyn Kusama and written by Diablo Cody. The movie stars Megan Fox as the titular character, Amanda Seyfried as her best friend, and Adam Brody as the lead singer of a band that inadvertently leads to Jennifer's transformation.
The film takes place in a small Minnesota town and follows the story of Jennifer, a popular high school cheerleader who becomes possessed by a demon after a failed sacrifice ritual conducted by a band.
As Jennifer begins to change, she becomes increasingly violent and begins to target and kill her male classmates, much to the horror of her best friend, Needy. Needy soon realizes that Jennifer's body is being used as a vessel for a demon, and she sets out to put an end to the horror.
As the movie progresses, Needy becomes more and more determined to stop Jennifer's killing spree. She teams up with a occult book store owner to try and figure out a way to save Jennifer before it's too late.
Jennifer's Body received mixed reviews upon its release but has since gained a cult following. The movie is known for its witty dialogue and subversion of traditional horror tropes, as well as its portrayal of female friendship.
