Jamie Marks is Dead is a supernatural drama film that was released in 2014. The movie was directed by Carter Smith and stars Cameron Monaghan as Adam McCormick and Noah Silver as Jamie Marks. The film is based on the novel One for Sorrow by Christopher Barzak.
The story is set in a small town in upstate New York and revolves around the death of Jamie Marks, a bullied and isolated high school student who is found dead in a river. Adam McCormick, another student in the same school, finds Jamie's body and becomes haunted by his ghost.
Adam is struggling to come to terms with his own identity and sexuality, and Jamie's ghost becomes a source of comfort for him. He begins to spend more and more time with Jamie's ghost, and the two of them form a bond that they never had in life.
As Adam becomes more involved with Jamie's ghost, he starts to uncover some dark secrets about the small town and the people who live there. He also finds himself in danger as he gets closer to the truth about Jamie's death and the town's secrets.
