Jake and Jack are two young men who have been living in a rundown apartment complex in Detroit for several years. The building is owned by a greedy and corrupt landlord who has been raising their rent every month without fixing any of the numerous problems with the building. One day, the landlord evicts them both without any warning, leaving them with nowhere to go.
Desperate and broke, Jake and Jack must navigate the dangerous and crime-ridden streets of Detroit in order to find a way to establish a new home and life for themselves. Along the way, they encounter various obstacles and challenges that test their strength and resolve. However, they also meet kind and generous people who offer them help and support.
As they learn to navigate through the snares and pitfalls of life in Detroit, Jake and Jack begin to find redemption and hope for a better future. They work hard to overcome their past mistakes and start anew, determined to make the most of the opportunities that come their way.
