Jackass: The Movie is a documentary-style film that follows the antics of Johnny Knoxville and his group of friends as they engage in a series of dangerous and outrageous stunts. The film is a spinoff of the popular TV show Jackass, which aired on MTV from 2000 to 2002.
The movie begins with Johnny and his friends traveling to Japan, where they dress up in panda suits and cause chaos on the streets. They then head back to the US and start causing trouble at a golf course, where they ride golf carts into a lake and use their clubs as weapons.
Other stunts in the movie include Johnny getting shot with a stun gun, Bam Margera jumping into a snake pit, and Chris Pontius performing a striptease at a club in South Carolina.
The film also features appearances from a number of celebrities, including Henry Rollins, Tony Hawk, and Spike Jonze. The movie was a commercial success, grossing over $79 million at the box office, and was followed by a number of sequels and spin-offs.
