Jab Tak Hai Jaan is a Bollywood romantic drama film directed by Yash Chopra. The story revolves around Samar Anand (played by Shah Rukh Khan), a bomb disposal expert who works for the Indian Army but has a tragic past. Samar met Meera (played by Katrina Kaif) in London, and the two fell in love. However, Meera was already engaged, and she eventually broke up with Samar, leaving him heartbroken.

Towards the end of the film, Samar must defuse a bomb that has been planted in a busy market area. He risks his life to save others and manages to safely defuse the bomb. Akira becomes concerned about Samar's safety and confesses her love for him. Samar finally realizes that he needs to let go of his past and move on with Akira.
