The protagonist of the movie, Samantha, is an agoraphobic life coach who has been holed up in her apartment for years. Despite her fears, she has built a successful coaching business, with clients who rely on her advice to navigate their own lives. However, Samantha's virtual existence is turned upside down when a new client, John, challenges her to practice what she preaches.

John, a charming but socially awkward man, is struggling to find love and asks Samantha for advice. She encourages him to step out of his comfort zone and take risks, but he challenges her to do the same. As Samantha becomes more invested in helping John find a partner, she realizes that she is also missing out on her own life.

Samantha's journey to overcome her agoraphobia is not an easy one. She struggles to leave her apartment at first, relying on her delivery guy, Tony, to bring her everything she needs. However, with John's encouragement and the support of her clients, Samantha slowly begins to take small steps outside her apartment. She starts by going to the park, then a coffee shop, and eventually, she attends a party for one of her clients.

As Samantha gains more confidence, she realizes that the key to finding love and happiness is not just about leaving her apartment but also about accepting herself for who she is. With John's help, she starts to see that her agoraphobia is not a weakness but a part of who she is. Samantha realizes that she doesn't need to change herself to find love and acceptance; she just needs to accept herself and have the courage to show the world who she truly is.

The movie, It's What's on the Inside, is a heartwarming romantic-comedy that reminds us that the first step to finding love is accepting and loving ourselves. Through Samantha's journey, we see that it is never too late to confront our fears and take a chance on love.
