The estranged couple, Emma and Jack, move into a spacious yet creepy house in the countryside following a recent separation. Shortly after settling in, they begin to experience strange and unsettling paranormal occurrences. Emma attempts to rationalize the happenings, but Jack becomes increasingly convinced that they are being haunted by an evil entity.
They decide to take on a roommate to help ease the financial burden of the large house, and Mia, a mysterious young woman, answers their advertisement. Mia seems to be perfect- clean, quiet, and never around too often. However, soon after her arrival, the severity of the paranormal activity intensifies, and Mia's ulterior motive becomes apparent- she is a powerful witch with a sinister agenda.
Emma and Jack find themselves trapped in their own home, desperately trying to uncover the secrets that surround Mia and how to rid themselves of the malevolent presence that torments them. As the haunting intensifies, they must confront their own past traumas and wounds to protect themselves from Mia's dark magic. In a race against time, they must find a way to banish the witch before it's too late.
