Isle of Dogs is a stop-motion animated film directed by Wes Anderson, released in 2018. Set in a dystopian near-future Japan, the movie tells the story of a young boy named Atari Kobayashi, who lives in the fictional city of Megasaki. After all dogs in the city are quarantined and sent to Trash Island following a canine flu outbreak, Atari sets out to find his lost dog, Spots. With the help of a pack of dogs led by Chief, a stray who is skeptical of humans, Atari begins a perilous journey across the treacherous island to reunite with his dog.

The film features an ensemble cast of voice actors, including Bryan Cranston, Edward Norton, Bill Murray, Jeff Goldblum, Bob Balaban, and Scarlett Johansson, among others. It received critical acclaim for its stunning visuals, artful storytelling, and poignant themes of loyalty, friendship, and rebellion against authority.
