Island of Death

Horror,Thriller  Greece

Island of Death is a controversial horror film that was released in 1976. Directed by Greek filmmaker Nico Mastorakis, the film depicts a British couple named Christopher and Celia who visit a small Greek island on vacation. However, what begins as a seemingly innocent escape from their boring lives quickly turns into a twisted killing spree that involves everything from bestiality to murder.

As the couple indulges in their depraved desires, the locals begin to suspect that something is amiss. They notice the couple's erratic and violent behavior, as well as their willingness to have sex with anyone or anything that crosses their path. In response, the townspeople try to take matters into their own hands, but are ultimately unable to stop Christopher and Celia.

When a London-based inspector named Oliver arrives on the island to investigate the couple's behavior, he is initially oblivious to their true nature. However, as more evidence comes to light, he begins to realize the extent of their depravity and sets out to put an end to their reign of terror.

Island of Death is notorious for its explicit content, including scenes of bestiality, rape, and graphic violence. Despite this, the film has developed a cult following over the years due to its extreme nature and its status as a "video nasty" in the UK during the 1980s.
