Iron Sky is a science fiction comedy film set in the year 2018. The movie begins with a group of American astronauts landing on the moon and discovering a Nazi base. The astronaut James Washington is captured by the Nazis and taken to their secret space fortress on the Dark Side of the Moon.
The Nazi leaders are initially shocked by the presence of a black man, as they believe Hitler's vision was to create a pure Aryan race. However, they soon see an opportunity to use James as part of their plan to invade Earth, which they believe is still controlled by the weak and inferior Allied powers.
Meanwhile, back on Earth, a young female American president is facing a tough re-election campaign. Her campaign manager decides to hire a well-known PR strategist to help boost her popularity. The strategist, a former model named Vivian Wagner, comes up with the idea of a space mission to the moon to find new resources for Earth's energy crisis.
When the Nazi invasion is launched, Vivian is captured by the Nazis and taken to their space fortress, where she meets James. Together, they hatch a plan to stop the Nazi invasion and save the world.
Iron Sky is known for its tongue-in-cheek humor and over-the-top action sequences. The film also touches on themes of racism, propaganda, and political manipulation.
