Invasion Planet Earth is a science fiction movie directed and co-written by Simon Cox. The movie stars Simon Haycock as Thomas Dunn, along with Lucy Drive, Julie Hoult, and Danny Steele.
The movie starts with Tom, who lost his daughter and faith because of the tragedy in his life. However, his wife, Mandy (Lucy Drive), is pregnant, which rekindles some hope and gives him a reason to move on. But their happiness doesn't last long as a large alien mother-ship appears in the sky, causing everyone on Earth to have visions of the end of civilization.
As the aliens attack, Tom must embark on a journey to save not only himself and his wife but the rest of humanity as well. Tom is determined to find Mandy, who has been separated from him, while trying to uncover the aliens' plan.
Along the way, Tom meets a group of people who are also trying to save the planet. He must confront his own demons and find his faith to prevent the human race's destruction. Finding Mandy with the help of his new allies, Tom discovers that their new baby holds the key to the future of mankind.
