In the movie, Inuyasha and his friends Kagome, Shippo, Miroku, and Sango are suddenly transported to Houraijima after a powerful earthquake. Houraijima is a mystical island that was believed to have disappeared 50 years ago, and it is protected by the Four Gods, the Shitoushin. However, since its reappearance, the gods have become corrupted and are determined to steal the Shikon Jewel's power, which is believed to exist on the island and is integral to Houraijima's existence.
In their quest to stop the Shitoushin, Inuyasha and his companions join forces with Sesshoumaru, who is also interested in the Shikon Jewel's power. They soon discover that the island's government has been sacrificing innocent people to the gods in exchange for protection. The group must navigate the island's treacherous terrain and fight off the Shitoushin's beasts while trying to stop the corruption of the gods and save the island's inhabitants.
Inuyasha the Movie 4: Fire on the Mystic Island features intense battles, breathtaking landscapes, and new characters, including the island's general, Ikari, and his rebellious daughter, Ai. The movie concludes with a thrilling showdown between Inuyasha and the Shitoushin, culminating in a powerful, fiery battle on the island's summit.
