Into the Ashes is a crime thriller film directed by Aaron Harvey. The movie takes place in a small town in Alabama where Nick Brenner (Luke Grimes) tries to live a peaceful life with his wife, Tara (Marguerite Moreau). But Nick has a dark past that he has tried to leave behind him. He used to be a part of a criminal gang led by Sloan (Frank Grillo), and they had pulled off a heist where they had stolen a huge sum of money.

After dropping out of the gang, Nick thought he could start afresh, even though he knew that his past could catch up with him. So, he moved to a small town, got married, and got a job as a mechanic. He thought he had left his criminal life behind him, but he was wrong. Sloan and his crew were still looking for the stolen money, and they wanted Nick to give it back to them.

One night, Sloan and his men show up at Nick's house, kidnap Tara, and warn him that if he wants to see his wife alive again, he must give back the money. Nick is devastated, and he knows that the only way to save his wife is to find the money and hand it over to the criminals. The only problem is that the money is long gone, and he has no idea where it is.

As Nick tries to figure out how to save Tara, he is also being confronted by the town sheriff, Frank (Robert Taylor), who is also Tara's father. Frank knows about Nick's criminal past and warns him to stay away from his daughter. But when he finds out that his daughter has been kidnapped, Frank joins forces with Nick to bring Sloan and his gang to justice.

Into the Ashes is a tense and suspenseful film that keeps you on the edge of your seat. It has excellent performances by Luke Grimes, Frank Grillo, and Robert Taylor, who bring their characters to life. The movie deals with themes of loyalty, betrayal, and revenge and shows how one's past can come back to haunt them.
