Rhyme and Effie are best friends who have been working at the Crown Lake country club for several summers in a row. They are both tired of the grueling work and are looking for a change. When they hear about an opportunity to work as fashion interns at the prestigious magazine Très Chic, they jump at the chance.
Despite having no experience in the fashion industry, Rhyme and Effie are determined to excel in their new roles. They quickly learn the ins and outs of the magazine business and begin to make a name for themselves among the fashion elite.
As they navigate the world of high fashion, Rhyme and Effie also have to deal with personal struggles. Rhyme is forced to confront her feelings for a fellow intern, while Effie struggles to balance her internship with her long-distance relationship.
