The young man in question is named Jack, and he's a caring brother who takes blame for a car accident caused by his sister, Lily. To avoid prosecution, Jack is forced into an involuntary stay at a mental institution known as Saint Adrian's. The facility is run by the creepy Dr. Gianetti, who takes pleasure in experimenting on the patients.
Jack discovers that Dr. Gianetti is injecting the patients with a serum that turns them into violent, flesh-eating monsters. He also meets a fellow patient, Gretchen, who seems to be the only one in the facility that can be trusted. Together, they try to figure out a way to stop Dr. Gianetti and his horrific experiments.
As the situation becomes more dire, Jack must fight his way through hordes of bloodthirsty patients to confront Dr. Gianetti and put an end to his twisted experiments. Along the way, he must also confront his own demons and come to terms with his own mental health issues.
Insanitarium is a horror movie that blends elements of science fiction and psychological thriller, with plenty of gore and suspense to keep viewers on the edge of their seats. It's a gruesome and unsettling ride that's sure to give audiences nightmares.
