Inhumane

Thriller  N/A

Rachel Moreno is a dedicated behavioral scientist who is convinced that the root of violent behavior in some individuals is a result of a chemical imbalance in their brains. She believes that by identifying and manipulating these chemicals, it is possible to reduce or even eliminate violent tendencies.

To test her theory, she gains permission from the government to conduct an experimental drug trial on a group of inmates at a high-security prison. The inmates are chosen because they have a history of violent behavior and it is hoped that the results of the trial will shed light on what causes this type of behavior.

The drug used in the trial is a powerful chemical cocktail that targets specific neurotransmitters in the brain. The inmates are given the drug once a day, and Rachel monitors their behavior closely over a period of several months.

At first, the results are promising. The inmates become less aggressive and fewer violent incidents occur in the prison. However, as time goes on, Rachel begins to notice disturbing changes in the behavior of the inmates. They become increasingly withdrawn and unresponsive, and some of them develop strange physical symptoms.

Rachel starts to suspect that the drug may be causing irreversible damage to the inmates' brains and begins to question the ethics of the trial. As she digs deeper, she uncovers a sinister plot behind the experiment and realizes that the very people who authorized the trial may not have the inmates' best interests at heart.

As the truth comes to light, Rachel finds herself in a race against time to save the inmates from the horrific fate that awaits them. In the end, she must risk everything to expose the truth and put an end to the inhumane treatment of the prisoners.
