Inhale is a 2010 drama-thriller film directed by Baltasar Kormรกkur and stars Dermot Mulroney and Diane Kruger as Paul and Diane Stanton, a couple whose daughter, Chloe, has cystic fibrosis. Chloe's condition has worsened, and she needs a lung transplant to survive.
The Stantons are informed that the wait for a donor could take a long time, and they become desperate. Paul decides to take matters into his own hands and investigates the black market for organs in Mexico. He seeks out the help of a shady doctor, Dr. Navarro, who agrees to help him find a donor organ for Chloe.
As they delve deeper into the dark world of organ trafficking, the Stantons realize the terrible cost of what they are doing. They discover that the organs are taken from unsuspecting victims who are sold into slavery and then murdered. Paul begins to have second thoughts, but Diane insists that Chloe's life is worth any price.
The couple returns to the United States with the donor organ, but their actions are uncovered by the FBI, led by Agent Kelton, who arrests them. The Stantons plead guilty to their crimes but are allowed to return home to be with Chloe before serving their sentences.
In the end, Chloe survives her transplant, but the Stantons are left to deal with the consequences of their choices and the moral dilemma that they faced. The film highlights the harsh reality of the global organ trade and the lengths that desperate families will go to save their loved ones.
