Infinite follows Evan McCauley, a troubled young man who has been haunted by memories of two past lives since childhood. He is diagnosed with schizophrenia and has been in and out of psychiatric hospitals. However, Evan soon discovers that his memories are not just delusions but are real memories of past lives.

One day, Evan is approached by a group of people who call themselves "Infinites." They explain to him that they are a secret society of individuals who possess the ability to recall their past lives and have been reincarnated for centuries. The Infinites are divided into two factions - the Believers, who believe in using their knowledge and skills to help the world, and the Nihilists, who believe that humanity is doomed and want to end the cycle of reincarnation.

Evan is recruited by the Believers, who believe that he is the reincarnation of one of their leaders, Heinrich Treadway, and that he possesses a crucial memory that could save humanity. The memory is the location of the Egg, a device that, if activated, would grant the Infinites the power to control time and space.

Evan undergoes a rigorous training regimen to hone his skills as an Infinite. He also finds himself falling for fellow Infinite Nora Brightman. The two fall in love and work together to locate the Egg and stop the Nihilists from getting their hands on it.

As Evan and Nora race against time to find the Egg, they encounter obstacles in the form of the Nihilists, led by their formidable leader, Bathurst. Bathurst has a personal vendetta against Evan and will stop at nothing to prevent him from finding the Egg.

Infinite is an action-packed thriller that combines elements of science fiction, fantasy, and espionage. It stars Mark Wahlberg as Evan, Sophie Cookson as Nora, and Chiwetel Ejiofor as Bathurst.
