Induced is a horror-thriller film that explores the fear of childbirth and the lengths people will go to for a child. The story follows a couple, Sarah and Darren, who decide to have a natural childbirth in a remote cabin in the woods. However, things take a terrifying turn when a predatory midwife, Mina, arrives at the cabin and quickly reveals herself to be obsessed with Sarah's unborn child.
Mina is determined to claim the baby for her own, and she will stop at nothing to do so. As Sarah goes into labor, Mina becomes increasingly unhinged and violent, and the couple realizes that they are in grave danger. With no means of calling for help and nowhere to run, Sarah and Darren must fight for their lives and protect their child from Mina's twisted plan.
Induced is a tense thriller that delves into the darkness of obsession and the horror of childbirth. The film stars Christina Milian as Sarah, a first-time mother, and Nia Long as Mina, the sinister midwife. The movie is directed by Darren Lynn Bousman, known for his work on the Saw franchise, and is produced by the team behind the horror hits Get Out and The Purge.
