Indivisible is a powerful and emotional drama based on a true story. The film follows Chaplain Darren Turner (played by Justin Bruening) as he returns home from serving in the U.S. Army in Iraq. Despite his efforts to reconnect with his wife Heather (played by Sarah Drew) and their three children, the couple's marriage soon begins to fall apart due to the physical and emotional toll of Darren's wartime experiences.
Darren struggles to find comfort and solace in his faith, feeling that he abandoned God during his time in war. His doubts and conflicts lead to a crisis of faith, causing him to consider leaving his ministry and his family behind. However, he finds hope through the camaraderie and support of his fellow soldiers.
With the help of his army chaplain mentor (played by Michael O'Neill), Darren begins to regain his faith and reach out to Heather to try to save their marriage. Despite the many challenges they face, they work together to find love and forgiveness.
