At the hotel bar, they meet a local woman named Isla who offers to take them on a day trip to a beautiful waterfall in the jungle. Against the advice of Isla's brother Miguel, who warns them of dangerous creatures that inhabit the jungle, the Americans agree to go.

Upon arriving at the waterfall, the group decides to go for a swim. As they're splashing around, Isla suddenly disappears without a trace. The friends frantically search for her in the jungle but are unable to find her. With nightfall approaching, they realize they're lost and have no idea how to get back to civilization.

As they try to survive in the jungle, the friends begin to realize they're being stalked by something sinister. With their numbers dwindling and their survival at stake, the group must find a way to outsmart the Chupacabra and make it back to safety before it's too late.
