Inception is a 2010 science fiction movie directed by Christopher Nolan. The film stars Leonardo DiCaprio as Cobb, the skilled thief who specializes in extracting information from the subconscious of his targets while they are dreaming. He is joined by a team of experts, including Arthur (played by Joseph Gordon-Levitt), Ariadne (played by Ellen Page), Eames (played by Tom Hardy), and Yusuf (played by Dileep Rao), who is a chemist.

Cobb's latest mission involves planting an idea into the mind of Robert Fischer (played by Cillian Murphy), the heir to a huge corporation, to prevent him from taking over the global energy market. To accomplish this, the team must enter into Fischer's dreams multiple times and create a complex multi-level dream environment.

However, Cobb's personal demons, including his guilt over the death of his beloved wife Mal (played by Marion Cotillard), begin to haunt him as he descends deeper into Fischer's dreams. The team also faces unforeseen challenges, including Fischer's heavily guarded subconscious and Mal's presence in Cobb's subconscious.

As the dream levels become progressively more dangerous, Cobb must confront his past and accept the truth about his wife's death to complete the mission successfully.
