In the Tall Grass is a 2019 horror movie directed by Vincenzo Natali and based on the novella of the same name, written by Stephen King and Joe Hill. The movie follows siblings Becky and Cal, who are driving through rural Kansas on their way to San Diego when they hear the cry of a young boy coming from a nearby field of tall grass.
Despite their reservations, they venture into the field to help the lost boy, only to become disoriented and lost themselves. As they navigate the tall grass, they begin to sense that something is not right. Time and space appear to be distorted, and the field seems to have a will of its own.
They encounter other lost individuals, including a pregnant woman and her partner, who have been trapped in the grass for days. Together, they try to find a way out, but as they dig deeper, they uncover a sinister force hiding within the field.
As the story unravels, the characters are forced to confront their deepest fears and desires while facing a powerful entity that feeds on human suffering. With the clock ticking and their sanity slipping, the characters must band together to find a way out of the twisted maze before it's too late.
