The two detectives in question are Michael Wong and Cynthia Khan, who play their roles with intensity and grit. They are both dedicated to their jobs, but have different approaches to solving the case and clash frequently.
Meanwhile, Luk Wan-Ting (played by Donnie Yen) is a hardworking immigrant who just wants to provide for his family. He inadvertently becomes entangled in the drug-trafficking scheme when he witnesses a murder and is then framed for it by the real culprits.
As the detectives race against time to clear Luk's name and bring the real criminals to justice, they find themselves facing off against a shadowy organization with ties to international organized crime. Along the way, they must navigate dangerous shootouts, high-speed chases, and even a deadly game of cat-and-mouse on a construction site.
