Drama,Horror,Thriller,Romance,Mystery  United States of America

In the Cold of the Night is a neo-noir thriller film directed by Nico Mastorakis and released in 1990. The film stars Jeff Lester as Scott Bruin, a successful fashion photographer who begins to experience violent dreams that involve him attacking and murdering a young woman. Bruin's dreams become increasingly troubling and he starts to question his own sanity. He seeks help from a therapist, who suggests that his dreams may be related to repressed memories from his childhood.

As Bruin investigates his dreams, he discovers that the woman in his dreams is a real person named Kimberly (Adrianne Sachs). He becomes obsessed with finding her, convinced that she is in danger. He tracks Kimberly down and begins a relationship with her, but his dreams continue and he starts to fear that he is losing his grip on reality.

Things take a dark turn when Bruin is suspected of murdering a rival photographer and is brought in for questioning. As the police investigate the murder, Bruin continues to have disturbing visions and becomes increasingly paranoid and unstable. Ultimately, he must confront the truth about his past and the reality of his dreams in order to save himself and those he loves.

In the Cold of the Night is known for its stylized visuals and atmospheric soundtrack, as well as its blend of eroticism and violence. The film was not a critical or commercial success upon its release but has since gained a cult following among fans of neo-noir and psychological thrillers.
