In the movie Impulse, Claire Dennison is a married woman who is feeling unsatisfied with her life. One day, while out shopping, she meets a man who looks just like her husband. She is immediately attracted to him, and they end up having a steamy affair. However, the man, named Daniel, is not who he seems. He is actually a dangerous psychopath who has been stalking Claire for some time.
As their relationship intensifies, Daniel becomes more and more obsessed with Claire. He begins to manipulate her every move and becomes increasingly violent. Claire realizes she is in danger and tries to escape his grasp, but he is always one step ahead.
The tension in the movie builds as Claire becomes increasingly desperate to protect herself and her family from Daniel's wrath. She must outsmart him in order to survive and ultimately learns a valuable lesson about the danger of following her impulses.
