The movie I'm Not Him follows the story of Jimmy Valentino, a man who was given a second chance at life after being terminally ill. He believes that he was saved by a miracle and starts to share this belief with other terminally ill patients. To his surprise, these patients quickly recover after following his advice.
However, Jimmy tries to keep a low profile and keep his interventions under the radar. When word spreads about his success, the media and the world converge upon him. While some admire him for his work, others try to imitate him, and some denounce and disparage what he does as dangerous and sacrilegious.
Things take a turn for the worse when a patient dies after following what he believes is Jimmy's advice. Jimmy is arrested and prosecuted, putting his life in peril once again. He needs another miracle to prove his innocence and clear his name, one that can't be questioned.
Throughout the movie, we see Jimmy's struggle to balance his desire to help others with his fear of being discovered and his eventual downfall. The film raises questions about faith, miracles, and the responsibilities of those who claim to have the power to heal others.
