I'm Fine (Thanks For Asking) is a touching drama film that follows the story of Danny, a recently widowed mother, who finds herself homeless after her husband's death. With her house repossessed, Danny is forced to live in her car with her 8-year-old daughter Wes, who has no idea of the situation they are in.
Desperate to protect her daughter, Danny comes up with a plan to convince Wes that they are on a camping trip, moving from place to place every few days. While Wes is initially excited about their adventure, she soon starts to see the hardship and strain it is putting on her mother.
Determined to keep her daughter's spirits up, Danny seeks odd jobs to make ends meet, all while hiding the reality of their situation from her daughter. Throughout their journey, the two encounter various personalities, some kind and others not so much. Danny's resilience and Wes's innocent curiosity leads to touching moments that make the film an emotional journey.
As the days pass, Danny struggles with the weight of her situation and the uncertainty of their future. However, with Wes's love and encouragement, she finds the strength to keep moving forward.
