The movie follows Michael, a teenager who finds himself caught up in a dangerous international espionage plot after he is mistaken for a government agent. He is sent to France with his high-school French class, but his trip takes a dangerous turn when he is targeted by both the British Intelligence and the dangerous criminal organization, Steranko.
Michael is outfitted with a series of high-tech gadgets and weapons, including a transforming car, a jet pack, and exploding bubble gum. He uses these tools to fight off the various villains who are after him, including a beautiful and deadly assassin named Ilsa, who has been sent by Steranko to kill him.
As Michael races against the clock to stop Steranko's evil plans for world domination, he must also contend with his own teenage troubles, such as his budding romance with a fellow student and his struggle to reconcile with his estranged father.
