Helen and Lauren are a mother-daughter duo who embark on a winter vacation to an isolated cabin in the northern woods. Along the way, they pick up a hitchhiker named Ray, who seems charming and harmless. However, their peaceful trip takes a turn for the worse when they discover that Ray is actually a thief trying to evade a notorious killer who is hot on his heels.
As the trio hunker down in the cabin, they soon realize that they are not alone. The killer has been tracking them and is now closing in on their location. With no way to call for help and little knowledge of the wilderness, Helen and Lauren must fight for survival against the killer's ruthless tactics.
As tensions rise and the body count begins to climb, Helen and Lauren must rely on their wits and instincts to outsmart the killer and make it out alive. Will they be able to stay one step ahead of the Ice Road Killer, or will they succumb to his violent reign of terror?
