I Love You, Stupid is a Spanish romantic comedy film directed by Laura Mañá. The story follows Marcos, a young man who works as a scriptwriter for video games. One day, his long-time girlfriend breaks up with him and on the same day, he loses his job. Feeling lost and alone, Marcos' best friend suggests that he try to reinvent himself and start anew.
Marcos begins to work on a new script while also going on some disastrous dates. One night, at a bar, he meets Raquel, a free-spirited woman who is the complete opposite of his ex-girlfriend. Raquel is spontaneous, unpredictable, and vibrant. Marcos is immediately drawn to her and they spend a wild night together.
As Marcos and Raquel get to know each other, he starts to realize that he must confront his feelings for his ex-girlfriend and decide what he really wants in life. Meanwhile, Raquel challenges Marcos to step outside of his comfort zone and explore new experiences.
