In the film, Denis Cooverman, a nerdy and socially awkward valedictorian, uses his graduation speech as an opportunity to declare his love for Beth Cooper, the popular cheerleader he has been crushing on for years. To everyone's surprise, Beth responds positively to Denis's confession and agrees to spend the night with him and his best friend Rich.
The trio embark on a wild adventure, exploring the town and getting into various misadventures, including a run-in with Beth's psychotic ex-boyfriend and a visit to a local party hosted by Denis's arch-nemesis, Kevin.
