I Hate Luv Storys is a 2010 Indian romantic-comedy film directed by Punit Malhotra and produced by Karan Johar and Hiroo Yash Johar. The film stars Imran Khan and Sonam Kapoor in lead roles.

Simran (played by Sonam Kapoor) is an assistant director who is obsessed with romantic movies. She believes in true love and happily ever after, and often daydreams about her own perfect love story. However, her co-worker Jay (played by Imran Khan) is a no-nonsense cynic who thinks love stories are corny and unrealistic.

Simran's life takes a turn when she is entrusted with the task of assisting the egotistical director Veer Kapoor (played by Samir Dattani) on his new film, a love story titled "Pyar Pyar Pyar". Veer is arrogant and chauvinistic, and constantly belittles Simran. Meanwhile, Jay starts to fall for Simran, but she is too blinded by her perfect love story fantasy to notice his advances.

As they work together on the film, Simran and Jay begin to form a close bond, but their differing views on love and relationships threaten to pull them apart. When it finally seems like Simran is about to get her perfect love story, she realizes that it may not be what she really wants.

The movie deals with the themes of love, relationships, and the difference between fantasy and reality. It also features a soundtrack with popular Bollywood love songs.
