The movie follows Luis as he tries to navigate the world of dating and finding a wife, with the help (and sometimes hindrance) of his mother and sisters. He goes on various dates, but none of them seem to work out until he meets a woman named Emilia.
Emilia is a successful businesswoman who is looking for love just as much as Luis is. They hit it off immediately and start dating, but Luis's family is not so sure about her. They don't think she's good enough for him and try to sabotage the relationship.
Despite their efforts, Luis and Emilia fall in love and decide to get married. But as their wedding day approaches, Luis starts to have doubts. He wonders if he's making the right decision and if he's really ready for marriage.
In the end, Luis realizes that he is truly in love with Emilia and goes through with the wedding. His family comes around and accepts Emilia as part of their family. Luis and Emilia start their married life together, with Luis finally realizing that he's ready for the next chapter in his life.
