I Am Dragon is a Russian fantasy adventure film released in 2015 and directed by Indar Dzhendubaev. The movie is based on the novel "The Ritual" by Marina Dyachenko and Sergey Dyachenko. It stars Maria Poezzhaeva as Miroslava and Matvey Lykov as Arman.
The movie begins with a wedding ceremony between Miroslava and the Prince of Kievan Rus. However, in the middle of the ceremony, a dragon attacks and kidnaps Miroslava, taking her to his castle on a remote island called the Kingdom of the Dragon.
Miroslava wakes up in a stone cage inside the dragon's castle. She meets a mysterious young man named Arman, who is also trapped on the island. Arman tells Miroslava that he has been on the island for many years and that the dragon has taken many young girls as his brides.
Miroslava soon discovers that Arman has a secret - he is actually a dragon himself, but has been cursed by a sorceress to live as a human. Arman and Miroslava begin to fall in love despite their differences, but their happiness is threatened by the dragon's jealousy and the sorceress' plans to destroy the dragon and his castle.
Throughout the movie, Miroslava learns more about the dragon's past and the reason why he kidnaps young girls. She also discovers the truth about her own family history and the role she must play in helping Arman break his curse and defeating the sorceress.
