Hwayi: A Monster Boy is a South Korean crime thriller film released in 2013. The movie follows the story of Hwayi, a young boy who was kidnapped as a child and raised by five criminals who work as a professional assassin team. Hwayi lives with the group in a secluded rural area, where he grows up under the care of these five men who treat him as a son.
As Hwayi reaches his teenage years, he begins to question his life and his position in the group. He doesn't want to be a criminal like his mentors, but they force him to become part of their business. However, Hwayi has a unique talent that makes him a valuable asset to the group – he has an incredible ability to aim and shoot with precision.
When the five men are hired to carry out a kidnapping job, Hwayi is given the task of pulling the trigger. However, things go wrong, and he is forced to flee from the scene. As he tries to escape, Hwayi discovers some shocking truths about his past, which turns his world upside down.
