The movie revolves around the Johnson family who are viewed as social outcasts in the community. They are constantly shunned and ridiculed by their neighbors which has left them feeling angry and resentful. After years of mistreatment, the Johnson family finally decides to take matters into their own hands.
They start by painting their faces and roaming the streets at night. They attack anyone who they feel has contributed to their plight. One night, they target a couple, Sarah and John, who are out on a date with their infant son. The Johnsons follow them back to their home and begin terrorizing them in their own house.
Sarah and John are forced to fight for their lives as they try to protect their young son from the psychotic family. The Johnsons are relentless in their attacks, and Sarah and John soon realize that they are dealing with a group of people who are beyond reason.
As the night progresses, they are pushed to the brink of their physical and emotional limits. They must find a way to survive until the morning when they hope to be rescued.
