Hudson Hawk is a 1991 action-comedy film directed by Michael Lehmann and starring Bruce Willis, Danny Aiello, Andie MacDowell, and James Coburn. The film follows the story of Eddie Hawkins, a legendary cat burglar who just got out of prison after serving a ten-year sentence. He plans to go straight and enjoy his freedom, but soon finds himself blackmailed by the ruthless Mayflower couple into stealing some of the works of Leonardo da Vinci.

The Mayflowers, Darwin and Minerva, are rich industrialists who have a plan to take over the world using a secret alchemy machine created by Leonardo da Vinci. The machine can turn lead into gold and has other powerful properties. To activate the machine, they need three special da Vinci artifacts that are stored in museums around the world.

Hudson Hawk is forced to steal the artifacts for them, but he soon realizes that the Mayflowers are not to be trusted. Their plan is to use the machine to become the most powerful people in the world, and they will stop at nothing to achieve their goal. Hudson Hawk must use all his skills to outsmart the Mayflowers and keep his friend Tommy alive.

Along the way, he enlists the help of his partner in crime, Tommy, as well as a beautiful woman named Anna Baragli, who is also an expert thief. Together, they set out to steal the da Vinci artifacts before the Mayflowers can get their hands on them.

The film is filled with humor, action, and suspense as Hudson Hawk races against time to save his friend and stop the Mayflowers from carrying out their evil plan. The film did not do well at the box office but has gained a cult following over the years for its unique blend of comedy and action.
