Howling VI: The Freaks is a 1991 horror film directed by Hope Perello. The film opens with a young werewolf named Ian Richards (Brendan Hughes) being pursued by a group of hunters. During the chase, Ian is wounded and seeks refuge in a nearby carnival owned by a villainous man named Harker (Bruce Payne).

Harker is looking to add to his collection of inhuman exhibits and sees the wounded Ian as a perfect addition. He captures Ian and puts him on display in the carnival alongside other freakish creatures.

Meanwhile, a young journalist named Karen White (Brenda Strong) arrives in the town to investigate the carnival and its strange occurrences. She meets a fellow journalist named Ian's sister, Elizabeth (Michele Matheson), who reveals that her brother was a werewolf.

As Elizabeth and Karen investigate further, they discover the truth behind the carnival and Harker's intentions. They team up with a group of circus freaks and must rescue Ian and put an end to Harker's evil plan before it's too late.

The film features elements of horror, comedy, and drama and is the sixth installment in the Howling film series. It received mixed reviews upon its release but has since gained a cult following among fans of the horror genre.
