Outback Reconciliation Road Trip: A Wild Journey for Love

Comedy  Australia

Housos vs. Authority is a 2012 Australian comedy film, directed by Paul Fenech and starring the cast of the popular television series, Housos. The film follows the misadventures of two best friends, Franky and Dazza, who decide to take a road trip to Uluru in a drug-laden campervan, accompanied by Dazza's foul-mouthed girlfriend, Shazza.

The trio encounters a number of obstacles along the way, including run-ins with the police, encounters with drug dealers and biker gangs, and even a UFO abduction. As they travel across the country, they discover the true nature of their friendship and confront their own personal demons.

Meanwhile, back in Sydney, a group of corrupt politicians, led by Mayor Gary Goosesteen, are scheming to demolish the Housos' housing estate and turn it into a luxury resort. The Housos band together to defend their home and take on the corrupt authorities in a series of comic battles.

With its irreverent humor, vulgar language, and over-the-top characters, Housos vs. Authority is a raucous and hilarious ride that satirizes Australian society and subverts expectations at every turn.
