House of Many Sorrows is a horror movie that tells the story of a mentally unstable man named Jacob who takes over his terminally ill mother's bed and breakfast operation. Jacob's mother has been running the inn with her husband, but after her husband becomes sick and passes away, Jacob takes over and begins to unravel.
Guests begin arriving at the inn, but as they do, they start to disappear one by one. Jacob is the main suspect, as he behaves erratically and seems to have an obsession with the guests. Meanwhile, the local sheriff tries to investigate the disappearances but struggles to pin Jacob down.
