As Jesse begins to research his family history, he discovers that the crystal skull is actually one of four skulls that were used by the ancient Mayans to ward off evil spirits. The other three skulls are missing, and Jesse becomes determined to find them all and reunite them at the mansion.
Along the way, Jesse, Charlie, and their girlfriends encounter a variety of strange characters, including a Wild West gunfighter who lives in the house's vortex, a 1950s rockstar who is still performing in the mansion's attic, and a prehistoric bird that hatches from an egg found in the basement.
As they search for the other crystal skulls, Jesse and his friends are pursued by Slim Razor and his gang of undead cowboys, who are also searching for the skulls. In the end, Jesse discovers that the true power of the skulls lies not in their jewels, but in the love and loyalty of his friends and family. With their help, he is able to defeat Slim Razor and reunite the four crystal skulls, which bring peace and harmony to the mansion and its inhabitants.
