The three backpackers, Paxton, Josh, and Oli, arrive in Bratislava, Slovakia, and meet a man named Alexi who tells them about a hostel in a remote village that is filled with beautiful women who are willing to do anything for them. Excited by the prospect of fulfilling their wildest desires, they take Alexi's advice and make their way to the hostel.
Once they arrive, they are greeted by a friendly staff and find themselves enjoying the amenities of the hostel. However, things quickly take a dark turn as the trio discovers that the hostel is actually a front for a secret organization that tortures and kills tourists for the pleasure of wealthy clients.
Paxton becomes the sole survivor after his friends are captured and brutally murdered. He manages to escape with the help of a young Asian woman, who is also a victim of the organization's sadistic practices.
The movie exposes the ruthlessness of this secret organization and the horrors of the sex trade industry that takes advantage of vulnerable individuals. Hostel became a cult classic for its gruesome approach to torture and horror, sparking an ongoing debate about the ethics and morality of such entertainment.
